1.5    "Section 3. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 354.436, subdivision 1, is amended to read:
1.6    Subdivision 1. Aid authorization. The state shall pay:
1.7(1) $12,954,000 to the Teachers Retirement Association on behalf of the former
1.8Minneapolis Teachers Retirement Fund Association and shall pay;
1.9(2) $14,377,000 during fiscal year 2015 to the Teachers Retirement Association for the
1.10credit of the Duluth Teachers Retirement Fund Association and, after fiscal year 2015, shall
1.11pay $14,377,000 on behalf of the Duluth Teachers Retirement Fund Association.; and
1.12(3) $18,823,530 as state aid to the Teachers Retirement Association.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.

1.14    Sec. 4. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 354A.12, subdivision 3a, is amended to read:
1.15    Subd. 3a. Direct state aid to St. Paul Teachers Retirement Fund Association. (a)
1.16The state must pay $2,827,000 direct state aid to the St. Paul Teachers Retirement Fund
1.17Association. as follows:
1.18(1) $2,827,000;
1.19(b) In addition to other amounts specified in this subdivision, the state must pay (2)
1.20$7,000,000 as state aid to the St. Paul Teachers Retirement Fund Association.;
1.21(c) In addition to the amounts specified in paragraphs (a) and (b), the state must pay (3)
1.22$5,000,000 as state aid to the St. Paul Teachers Retirement Fund Association.; and
1.23(4) $1,176,470.
1.24    (d) (b) The aid under this subdivision is payable October 1 annually. The commissioner
1.25of management and budget must pay the aid specified in this subdivision. The amount
1.26required is appropriated annually from the general fund to the commissioner of management
1.27and budget.
1.28EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
